Real Not Rehearsed

Image
Hello sister saints! Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.   Philippians 4:21  It was a very cold day but brother James cut wood anyway and we continued to load the new woodbin he recently added to the end of his shop.  We're thankful for it because our little woodstove keeps our tiny house toasty warm.  (Sometimes too warm but then that's what windows are for lol.)  I sent a picture of my computer screen in the works of starting this post and a sister sent it back with scripture (thank you:-) That's so perfect because it goes right along with the audio for today (that I struggled to make lol)  It's a bit different but maybe that's good cuz it might help me for going forward.  Anyway it shows the real me and therefore the name (thanks for the title brother James - he's good at things like that:-)  Real Not Rehearsed. And you can find that HERE on the sisters audio page. I'm thankful for all my sisters who love the Lor

Philippians 4:8- Battles of the Mind and Relationships

Image
Greetings to our godly sister saints!!!! How was your day? I love that, He is our light.  We sisters, born from above, went from being in the darkness of satan to being in the life of Christ.  What a worthy saviour to serve!!!  I made an audio today using Philippians 4:8 and some examples on how we can do that in regards to troubling relationships.   You can also find it HERE on the sisters audio page.  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8  It's all a mindset and discipline to catch ourselves and beat our flesh / mind into submission and keep it focused where it ought to be and away from where it ought not. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  Set your

How Are You Today?

Image
Greetings sister saints! How are you today?  There's a story behind the title and I'll share it with you.   First I'll thank the Lord for another day to serve Him and to share His precious truth! I love that, praising God and I like that flower too...thank you sister for the scripture pictures they are beautiful and filled with the precious word!   Amen, the pure in heart are the ones who are seeking all truth, not those who are only looking for some so that they can keep their sins.   God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.   John 4:24  Amen, He is plenteous in mercy and truth. Sisters were talking about how God was long suffering and patient with us in our sins, it's our reasonable service for us to suffer through being around the sins of others while He is long suffering with them as well.  We are here to shine the light of Christ in among those who need it as so it's just our reasonable service.   We had to go to town

Repetition in the Lord is Good and Godly

Image
Greetings sister saints! This is a post specifically for a teaching that brother James did called: " Repetition in the Lord is Good and Godly" and   think you will be greatly edified by it. You can find it  HERE .  Love to you all, Sister Deb with brother James https://www.dontperish.com/uploads/4/4/2/8/44282867/repetition_in_the_lord_is_good_and_godly.m4a

Savvy Shopping Sisters

Good evening sister saints! How are you doing? We were super busy again today and I was thanking the Lord for the strength to do what I need to do.  I hauled some leaves while brother James was cutting some wood... After we stacked it we walked over to get a wheelbarrow load full and relocate it by the house. On the way I saw this awesome sight... Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?   Job 37:16  The sun was shining through and making them all sparkly, which I couldn't capture but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It's been really cold but we're still able to use the water in the barrels, that's a blessing. Brother James is adding some center poles to our porch so I peeled the first one. I'll get a picture when we have them all done.  I'm so thankful for the woodstove to keep us warm, it's great in the morning when the floor is cold or in the afternoon from being out in it all

Being Zealous not Anxious

Image
Hello sister saints who love the Lord..  Brother James and I were looking through some of his old pictures and videos on his phone (as he was cleaning it out from months and months ago lol) and I saw this picture... I told brother James 'I can't wait to get back out there and give the gospel out again!"    Then I said 'I don't like those words, 'can't wait' because I can wait and I'm not anxious because I'm joyful to have this day before us, but how can i say that rightly?'   He said 'zealous not anxious'.    That's it!  Zealous! Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.   Titus 2:14  Burning with zeal, I love that!!!!! The Lord has given brother James and I a burning zeal to share His precious truth and we have to control that in the right time and right place because it's all in His timing.  And as I was working on this post, I had

Encouragement on Redeeming the Time

Image
Good evening sister saints! (Thank you sister for the beautiful scripture pictures:-)   What a glorious God who can purge away our sins, for those who repent and are born again through the biblical gospel. Not the easy believe gospel that even the demons believe but the one where we lose our life to find it. The one where we will turn from all sin and follow hard after Him.  The one where our works justify our faith as the book of James tells us. The one where we will endure in, until the end. (See the full gospel HERE .)  We've been diligently working here on the homestead and while doing my work today I thought about how we are trying to get all our projects done before we leave in spring.  Thank you hubby brother James for drawing that for me:-)  It made me think to do this audio....redeeming the time. You can also find it ( HERE ) on the sisters audio page.  What an awesome thought amen sister?  Being thought of as above the price of rubies!  Let that be an encouragement to us
